Ocie Lee Means started drawing from comics and cartoons as a child. After his collection of pencil drawings on typing paper, he discovered his need to expand his creativity onto a large platform. He chose his bedroom wall! Thinking of his troubles after being told to never draw on the walls, he learned his passion & desire was stronger than his punishments.



Growing up on the South side of Chicago, during the 70's Ocie had to learn his passions at an early age. Although he considers himself as a late bloomer he had to continue his long hard road to success!

 

After 25 years of experience of drawing and painting murals, portraits, abstracts, and most recently working with stone.  Ocie was inspired when driving through the mountains in Georgia to create artwork in stone.  

 

Ocie is excited to share with the world his talents. He is looking forward new relationships and opportunities all over this land.
